Ruth Baranowski bought her first house in Colorado in 1996, and that home purchase led to a lifetime love of real estate. Ruth called Crestone home for a decade, and during that time she owned vacation home rentals and loved hosting guests from all over the world who are drawn to this stunning location. As a result, Ruth can provide valuable insight into vacation home and investment property purchases.

Ruth is also experienced in land purchases and parcel consolidations in Crestone’s Baca Grande subdivision and thoroughly enjoys assisting other land buyers and sellers in the San Luis Valley. She understands wanting to own land in a beautiful setting, especially for people living in an urban corridor who may be dreaming of that escape to a simpler lifestyle.

When she’s not assisting buyers with landing their dream properties or assisting sellers with moving on to a new life chapter, Ruth can be found helping to advance renewable energy and enjoying incredible Colorado landscapes with her family (including rescue dogs). She loves to explore new locations with a camera in hand. One of her favorite destinations is Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, and she’s always excited to talk to newcomers about it and other magical places in the San Luis Valley and Southern Colorado.

In addition to being a licensed Colorado Realtor, Ruth holds a B.A. in mass communications from Colorado State University-Pueblo and an M.S. in technical communications from the University of Colorado-Denver.
